Important Notes
Prices are for our store brand keys or refurbished keys. If you would like a new key for a specific job, please call for pricing.
Specific logo keys — for example SRT logo or Mustang logo keys — may be substituted for Dodge logo or Ford logo keys. If you would like a specific logo key, we are happy to order it in. Pricing may vary depending on availability.
Chrysler FOBIK keys are considered "remote-head keys" for pricing purposes. FOBIK Keyless-Go key pricing falls under the "Smart Key" category. For all FOBIK key applications, a POD key can be substituted as a cost-saving alternative when the complete FOBIK key isn't required.
GM VATS keys are considered to be transponder keys for pricing purposes.
The price to duplicate standard edge cut, non-transponder keys is $10. The price to duplicate transponder keys is $59.
2014–2018 Nissan Rogue Warning
There is a flaw built into the 2014–2018 Nissan Rogue that only affects models with smart keys (key ignition models are not affected). When programming a new key, the body control module may not accept any new keys, and existing keys may stop working — leaving the vehicle inoperable. The only solution is to replace the BCM along with new keys, at a cost of approximately $1,500. The Car Key Store accepts no responsibility if the BCM becomes corrupted when programming new keys to these vehicles.
A service call charge of $99 will apply to all wholesale transactions when a specific appointment is required. This includes meeting up (in our local area) with customers at their home or work for service.
There is a minimum charge of $149 to come out of our shop for any service. All retail calls done outside of our shop will incur a $149 service call charge.
Some keys (such as 2017+ Subaru Remote-Head Keys) are currently very hard to find used or refurbished. If we cannot source refurbished keys for certain vehicles, we can always get new keys, but pricing will increase.
